London Zoo! a Roarsome Day out!

We were so excited to be invited to the London Zoo last week! If you know us, you know what big animal lovers we are! So the boys were literally counting the days till we went - We even drew portraits of the animals to show them!!

Building the Excitement

Days before visiting the boys made Animal portraits to show them !

Ofcourse each of the boys had a list of which animals they ‘NEEDED’ to meet and that list was checked off at The London Zoo!

By far the most fun was had with the lemurs - because Hail King Julien !! The Tiger, and Penguins were close seconds :

The London Zoo has recently reopened to the public and as you can imagine, it has suffered immensely like all businesses. Now that they have reopened, with all the necessary Covid-19 safety precautions I encourage you to take your kids for a fabulous days out.

Covid-19 protocols in place

One Way routes have been put in place so social distancing can be maintained. There are Pink, Blue and Orange routes which took us almost 5 hours to complete (with ample food, drink, toilet, icecream breaks ofcourse !)

Sanitizers are installed at every entrance as are reminders to wear masks in certain indoor areas.

We ate at the Zoo restaurant and the fish and chips were really good. all food was given in takeaway packaging so low risk of contamination.

Parking is available for the day for 14.5 GBP.

Congestion zone: I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the zoo is outside the congestion zone, so there’s good savings to be made!

Toilets: there are several toilets and we used 2 of them - both of which were CLEAN!! hurrah!

All in all we had a fabulous day out - head over to Instagram to see our videos from the day!
