Go Boat - London

PRESS TRIP: It’s Father’s Day and what better way to make Baba feel special than taking him on a Boat Ride where HE gets to be the CAPTAIN!

We were super excited to be invited on board the newly reopened GoBoat experiences that operate from Kingston and Paddington every day now. You can rent the boat for an hour or two and YOU get to drive. The good news is, there’s no experience needed as operating the boats is super simple (EVEN for my husband !)

Food: you are allowed to pack and bring your own picnic! We got ours from @Sainsburys

Parking: for Kingston GoBoat experience is at John Lewis or Bentalls mall

Toilets: There are no toilets on-board so be wary of that and make a trip before getting on! I may or may NOT admit that one of the twins ended up ‘going’ in a paper cup … #mumlife eh?

Covid Precautions: The crew is abiding by all the Govt regulatios and allowing only one family on board at a time. As restrictions ease they will be able to allow more. I saw the staff meticulously disinfecting and wiping down each boat before passengers got on. Contact less payments were being taken too.

Review: As a family experience i would rate this at 5/5. It ticks all the boxes for us - The beautiful Thames with the gorgeous views as swans swim along you just puts you at ease. Even the twins, who are normally hard to contain were mesmerised by the beauty around us. The highlight for us was the Hampton Court Palace which is one of my favorite places in London and seeing it from the boat was just amazing.

We genuinely cant wait to visit the Paddington Go Boat as well!
